Here are some common questions about RIDSTAR EU e-shop.

How can you be trusted?

We have the longest track record of any RIDSTAR partner on the market. We have sold more than 200 electric bikes. As the manufacturer does not have its own retail stores (yes, some sellers with stolen domains claim to be manufacturers) we have chosen the European market as our main market and operate exclusively here, providing the best possible customer experience. We do not hide our identity, we offer all the most secure payment methods.
We have the highest reliability rating of any Ridstar store on the market.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments by card (Visa, Mastercard),

via the payment collection platform Paysera (payment methods are individual per country).

Do you ship to my country?

If you live in a European Union country, then yes, we'll ship to your country - for FREE. Exceptions apply for islands.

When will my order ship?

We usually dispatch within 1-2 working days and it takes about 3-4 days for the parcel to reach you. Please note that during holidays, due to heavy courier loads, shipments may be delayed!

Which parts are covered and for how long?

Note:
1. All parts of the whole vehicle will be guaranteed in strict accordance
with the warranty period. 2. Unauthorized modification of controller,
battery and charger is not allowed for warranty. 3. Gifts, worn parts and
packaging accessories are not covered by the warranty. 4. Damage caused
by human factors is not covered by the warranty. 

Battery 12 months If the battery capacity normally declines by more than 50% within one year (except for human factors), replace the battery with a new one within 6 months for free, and provide free warranty for 7 to 18 months. (No warranty for water ingress of battery)
Motor 12 months The motor can not be used normally to replace the motor due to normal use failure within 6 months. Free warranty for 7-18 months. (No warranty for water inflow)
Instrument/contr oller/charger 6 months In case of failure, the performance cannot be recovered, and it can be replaced (self refitting, no replacement for man-made damage)
Booster/switch accelerator/head light 6 months The dysfunction can be replaced free of charge
Frame 24 months Free replacement for natural cracking, desoldering and fracture
Front fork 12 months Free replacement for natural cracking, desoldering and fracture
Transmission system/pedal/par king rack 6 months The dysfunction can be replaced free of charge

 

I bought a Ridstar from another shop, can I apply for a warranty from you?

The warranty is provided by the shop that sold you the bike! You can contact us for a warranty claim if you bought your bike from our e-shop.
If the warranty has expired and you need spare parts, please contact us and we will help you.

Technical Questions

1. Our E-bikes is waterproof IP54/IP67, with a certain level of waterproof, it still leaves the device susceptible to damage if faced with jets of water, or temporary or continuous immersion in water. So we recommend that you try to avoid using it in the rain and dry it in time after use.

2. We believe the assembly of the bike is quite straightforward, and generally takes around 15-25 mins to put it together. Each bike comes with an installation guide which you can refer to, or you can refer to the installation video.

3. Charging time depends on the battery capacity. Most of our E-bikes and E-scooters take less than 6 hours to charge, you can check the product manual.

4. Battery lifetime much depends on how the battery is maintained. Under healthy conditions, batteries are rated for 800-1000 cycles. This may be reduced depending on the use and storage/care of the battery.
Keep your battery charge level between 30-80% where possible. This will greatly increase the life use of your battery unit. Do not store your battery plugged into a charger. Charging should be monitored and the battery should not be left plugged into the charger.

5. After you have received your bike we recommend that you charge it for 5 hours.

6. E-bike motor power. All e-bikes have a maximum motor power, not a nominal power, as stated in the description and name of the bike. The nominal power can be calculated from the bike's voltages and the current supported by the controller.
